Nursery Plans

I'm so excited to get moving on the nursery, can you tell?! :) I've always known that whether we had a boy or a girl I wanted their nursery to be charming and sophisticated. Here is what I've come up with so far for the little miss... which of course it might change but I'm loving the mix so far!

1) I was so happy when my mom and I found this petal fabric at Joann's, it has all the colors I want to work with. I'm planning on making curtains with this fabric, possibly adding some pom-pom trim, as a way to tie everything in the room together.

2) We haven't decided yet if we are painting the room, but if we do I would love to go with an off-white color like this Benjamin Moore Sugar Cookie.

3) For some reason it was so hard for me to decide on crib sheets. We ended up registering for navy blue as from the beginning I wanted to tie navy into the room somehow, and I think this will do the trick!

4) For wall decor I would love to get this mirror to hang above the changing table/dresser and I'm hoping to have a small gallery wall above the crib. This print must be in it!

5) Of course there can never be enough storage so I think grabbing at least one of these baskets to throw baby girl's blankets etc in would add some texture to the room.

6) THE coral dresser. As soon as I saw a nursery on Pinterest with a coral dresser I knew I had to replicate it. We are now on the hunt for a can or two of Coral Gables by Benjamin Moore.

I'm hoping that a rocker with upholstered curtains that my Grandma is making will fit right in and I still need to find a side table and lamp for the room. Oh and our crib is going to be white. I can't wait to see it all come together!

Baby is the size of a: Cantaloupe
Gender: GIRL!!
Feeling: Good! Having a lot more energy than I have in awhile.
Maternity clothes: Of course, it's been fun having a change in the wardrobe :)
Sleep: Not too bad.. some hip pain still every once in awhile but it's bearable.
Best moment this week: Obviously finding out the gender ;) I can't wait to start decorating the nursery! I'm leaning towards a mix of coral, cream, gold and navy but who knows. Pinterest is giving me WAY too many ideas haha
Worst moment this week: Nothing!

Miss anything: Beer. Shock Top has a new "Chocolate Wheat" that I'm dying to have, of course it's only for the holidays, so I'm sure I'll be all over it next year.
Movement: Lots of kicks now...before it was mostly a flutter here and there but she has been dancin up in my storm in the morning and late at night. Kev has gotten to feel it a few times! She was quiet the showoff at the ultrasound :)
Cravings: Still on the chocolate milk kick, and it didn't help that I found CHOCOLATE Lucky Charms the other day. Kev laughed that I found it in a Family Size box, but the little miss wanted some too ;)
Queasy or sick: Neither
Baby items I couldn't resist buying: Wellllll I couldn't pass up the cute stuff at Old Navy!
Looking forward to: Making moves in the nursery, I can't wait!
